Job Summary: The Clinical Informatics Manager provides leadership in the coordination and enhancement of staff performance and the coordination, integration and accomplishment of clinical information system projects and department goals. Coordinates and facilitates communications with the clinical Service Lines in relation to automated information. Enhances Mission Hospitals by driving the evolution of customer-oriented, cost-effective and integrated health information management systems. Supports physicians, clinicians, health care workers, affiliates and partners by ensuring continuous support, troubleshooting and identifying opportunities for clinical information system improvements.

Required Education: Baccalaureate degree in a health profession or related field. Will consider a combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education: Masters degree.

Required Experience: 3-5 years Oncology experience in hospital, clinic or practice setting. 2-5 years recent leadership experience guiding, coaching and coordinating Clinical Informatics staff in the achievement of department and project goals. Possess high level of verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Experience: Experience in tertiary health care information systems desired.
