Job Summary:

This position focuses on cancer pharmacogenomics, especially the clinical consultation and evaluation of comprehensive cancer genomic profiling assays, and relevant education and training of providers as well as patients. This position is a clinical backup to the Personalized Medicine Clinical Pharmacist. The successful candidate must have at least 5 years of experience and expertise providing clinical consultation for cancer genomic profiling, as well as demonstrated proficiency in education and training in the field of cancer personalized medicine. The candidate must be a licensed clinical pharmacist in North Carolina in good standing. The candidate must demonstrate exemplary professionalism and work ethic, timeliness and high quality of work, and high social and organizational skills.

Required Education: Doctor of Pharmacy degree, Post graduate residency (1-2 years) or extended training in clinical pharmacogenomics

Preferred Education: None

Required License: An active license to practice in North Carolina, or eligible to become licensed in North Carolina within 60 days

Preferred License: None

Required Experience: Experience in clinical application of pharmacogenetic or pharmacogenomic information and testing in a clinical environment, especially interpretation of comprehensive cancer genomic profiling for cancer patients

Preferred Experience: Experience with CERNER EMR preferred.
