Job Summary: Oversees the procurement process, inventory control, logistics and distribution of medication supplies for Mission Health System. Responsible for identification of contract opportunities and assures the accuracy and maintenance of contract pricing availability on all Mission Health accounts. Critically analyzes the pharmaceutical supply chain and actively participates in the identification and management of medication shortages. Assumes a lead role in budget development and management as related to pharmaceuticals and supplies.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy

Preferred Education: MBA, MS, Pharmacy Residency and/or PharmD

Required License: Pharmacist License, North Carolina Board of Pharmacy

Required Experience: Minimum 2 years hospital pharmacy experience. Strong communication skills in both verbal and written form to facilitate interactions with physicians, administrators, staff and technical information systems professionals. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail a must. Requires the ability to manage multiple priorities and considerable multi-tasking on a daily basis. Must be able to use judgment and work independently with the ability to meet deadlines and consistently prioritize work load changes. Requires the ability to perceive and solve problems analytically.

Preferred Experience: Previous experience in Supply Chain Management, Microsoft Office Professional applications, basic Cerner and Pyxis knowledge.
