Role Summary: The Charge Services Systems Analyst, Sr. will ensure a high quality experience for system users by leveraging strong partnerships with vendors, engineers, clinical departments, financial and revenue cycle leadership and other analysts/informaticists. The Charge Services Systems Analyst, Sr. will serve as a technical consultant by providing leadership for the research, evaluation, selection, testing and implementation of the information systems to support the health system's core business and clinical applications. Senior Analysts will be responsible for the build and delivery of agreed upon system configurations that support documented work flow. Use of proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills will help to identify, communicate and resolve applications issues to maximize the befit of charge services applications and systems investments. The Charge Services Systems Analyst, Sr will work with the business/clinical departments to identify project/system needs, resolve problems and promote the effective use of application resources. Serves as a subject matter expert and makes discretionary and joint decisions using professional judgement regarding clinical workflow and processes as they relate to clinical and revenue cycle applications.

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree or six years' of experience in a technology, clinical, informatics, or charge services related field.

Preferred Education:

Master's degree in technology or informatics-related field or equivalent experience.

Required Experience:

3 years proven, qualified and seasoned work experience in an application or business analyst role, preferably in a health care setting.

Preferred Experience:

5 or more years of proven, qualified and seasoned work experience in an application role, preferably in Cerner Charge Services setting.
