Role Summary:

The Revenue Integrity Analyst, Sr. plays an important role in a high-profile group tasked with improving revenue results by taking a global view of clinical and financial processes, functions and interdependencies from the provision of patient care to final bill generation. Due to its service focus, service line specifics and project management emphasis this position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, well-developed analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines while influencing, but not directly managing the work of others. The Revenue Integrity Analyst, Sr. role is an analytical and process improvement role with a primary focus of working on revenue cycle tasks with the purpose of improving revenue cycle process outcomes. This position requires competency in revenue cycle, financial, business, clinical, CDM, coding, billing and other analytical skills with a focus on process improvements. The Senior Analyst will serve as a resource for teams working on major complex performance improvement efforts that affect multiple facility and clinical practice revenue cycle protocols.

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree in Health Information, Information technology or related field or equivalent experience in Revenue Cycle. If RN, effective 3/1/18 Bachelor of Science in Nursing OR enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program within 6 months AND obtain a BSN within 4 years of hire date into RN position. Previous signed BSN commitment letter OR grandfathering will be accepted between departments and Mission Health entities. Exemptions may be approved with CNO System Council approval.

Preferred Education:

Master's degree in HIM, IT, Nursing or related field.Required License/Certification(s): Coding Certification through AAPC or AHIMA, or CRIP through AAHAMPreferred License/Certification(s): Coding Certification through AAPC or AHIMA, or CRIP through AAHAM and current RN in the state of NC

Required Experience:

3-5 years proven, qualified and seasoned work experience in coding, charge, revenue or compliance auditing/analyst role.

Preferred Experience:

5 or more years proven, qualified and seasoned work experience in coding, charge, revenue or compliance auditing/analyst role.
