Job Description

Desktop Support / Level 2.

Carson based manufacturing company has an exciting opening for desktop support professional. This is a hands on, walk the halls, work at users' desk type role, not remote support.

The general responsibilities of the job: At this time, it is a temporary 2 month contract with the opportunity to extend.

Hourly pay rate $25/hr. Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm.

Essential Duties:

- Install, configure, and maintain Information Technology equipment according to company standards. - Acts as the first-level technical support - assist users with hardware, software problems and questions. - Assist with troubleshooting application issues. - Assist I/T team members in the development and testing of end-users desktop images and application deployment. - Support with implementation of new software packages, operating systems, and end-user environments. - Support of the State-Wide Local Area Network. - Day-to-day management of the I/T helpdesk tickets. - Work with other I/T staff to ensure the timely and reliable delivery of Information Services.

- I/T hardware installation, configuration, deployment, and maintenance experience - MS Windows environment experience - Application troubleshooting experience Requirements:
  • 2+ years of MS desktop support experience
  • 2+ years of working with Active Directory
  • Lotus Notes support is a huge plus.
  • 2+ years of Printer support.
