Our client in Chatsworth, CA, is the industry leader in the microdermabrasion market, manufacturing superior medical devices and skin care products.

The Service Technician will be performing servicing, repair and quality control of vacuum-based electro-mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies and components on medical our proprietary medical devices. Reporting to the Production Supervisor via the Service Lead Technician, the Service Technician will be expected to be familiar with using shop tools. New Service Technicians will step into a culture of empowerment with on-the-job training to develop and hone technical skills in performing support for advanced electro-mechanical production on FDA-regulated medical devices.

The successful candidate will exhibit self-motivation to maximize the Daily Production throughput by performing the set-up, testing and quality control of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.

This candidate is critical in assuring our client's high-quality standards, in compliance with U.S. and International standards are maintained.


1. Display familiarity in performing servicing, repair and quality control using various mechanical and electronic tools.

2. Perform many of the tasks necessary to perform the technical servicing of vacuum-based mechanical, electrical, hardware, software and systems components, assemblies and sub-assemblies.

3. Achieve manufacturing throughput goals for various medical devices and associated assemblies.

4. Maintain a high level of attention to detail in identifying potential discrepancies in product and providing forensic data for root cause analysis.

5. Maintain a high level of attention to detail in fulfilling orders requiring technical components.

6. Comply with systems, written policies and prescribed procedures in a continual improvement environment.

7. Record and review relevant data using manual and/or computer-generated techniques and tools.

8. Provide data for after action reports to memorialize lessons learned. Review these reports in a training environment and participate in providing key insights for trend analysis of Key Performance Indicators.

9. Maintain a safe, organized and clean work environment. Maintain compliance with standardized practices which comply with FDA-regulated cGMPs, policies and procedures.

10. Be motivated to cross-train with other departments to gain holistic insights into company operations.

11. Be motivated to progress on to a Diagnostic Technician which includes advanced technical acumen and customer support in troubleshooting customer technical needs.


1. Familiarity using shop tools.

2. HS Diploma, or equivalent.

3. Knowledge of electromechanical assembly, test methodologies and electronic troubleshooting strongly emphasized.

4. Strong focus on product quality, timeliness and operational safety.

5. Moderately proficient computer skills allowing the candidate to enter electronic data into customer documents, online databases and electronic logs. NetSuite and Salesforce ERP experience a plus.

6. Ability to embrace a collaborative environment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Monday through Friday 7 am to 4 pm.

This position pays between $12.00 and $13.25 per hour, DOE
