Job Description

The Quality Assurance Technician will ensure that products are at their highest quality level and meet or exceed the quality standards set forth by the customer and/or the company. This position performs inspections, checks, tests and sampling procedures of incoming materials, parts components as well as in process components and finished product.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Inspector will measure, examine and test components, finished product and processes against specified requirements to determine conformity.
  • Rework or reject components as required
  • Conduct and document process and system audits using written procedures as audit standards
  • Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing
  • Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner
  • Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration
  • Work with production and assembly to provide feedback regarding accuracy of procedures
  • Must be able to work with supervisors to communicate problems and discuss possible disposition and corrective action
  • Assist in training of new hires to company policies and procedures
  • Correspondence with operations, engineering, and purchasing to improve product quality using quality metrics
  • Must be familiar with machinery and manufacturing processes and understand quality concepts
  • Proficient with MS Office

  • Experience with ISO:9001 requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years experience in manufacturing quality assurance position with exceptional attention to detail using established methods and procedures
  • Must be able to use measuring tools such as ruler, tape measure, calipers, micrometers, gauges and CMM.
  • Ability to read blue prints, specifications, tolerances and drawings


Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos in English. Ability to write English correspondence. Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and small group situations to management and company associates.
Requires advance skills, which require analytical math.

Requires the use of disciplined problem solving methods.
