Salary: $22/hour

Job Description:

Well established boutique Walnut Creek real estate and business litigation firm, seeks highly capable litigation assistant/office manager with at least 5+ years of relevant experience. The firm also handles preparation of wills and trusts as well as probate litigation.

Duties include:

Maintaining and organizing case files and documents, assisting in the preparation of pleadings, discovery and correspondence, and assisting in trial preparation. Maintaining office supplies and ordering as needed. Willingness to take initiative to help where needed as part of the team.

Skills Required:

Computer and word processing skills are a must. Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel. Must be familiar with calendaring requirements and statutory administrative deadlines for calendaring motions, oppositions to motions and reply briefs and E-filing procedures for both state and federal courts. Knowledge of Worldox electronic document management system a plus. Excellent organization, communication, grammar and proofreading skills a must. Firm is moving to a paperless case management system must be flexible and willing to work efficiently and effectively to support 4 busy attorneys as part of a team. Qualified candidate must be self-starter, who is able to work with little or no supervision.
