Under the direction of the Radiology Director and/or Lead Technologist performs those duties directly involved with a variety of procedures that include all the clerical functions of the department as well as providing patient transportation support. This position must properly maintain most all departmental records and data related to the patient services provided by the Department. Must meet, greet and take care of the needs of most every outpatient and visitor that comes to the Radiology Department. This person must possess the abilities to make copies of and manage medical images, and work closely with the hospital departments of Patient Access and Health Information Management. This position must print out daily departmental reports and act upon them on a daily basis. This person must also safely transport patients to and from the Department as needed. The specialized training and guidance for this position will be provided as needed. This position must maintain a good rapport with our internal and external customers, fellow employees, and other departments and facilities and our medical staff. This position must maintain a positive, friendly and caring attitude at all times. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Education: High school or GED
- Minimum Experience: Less than 1 year
