Job Description


Salary: $15-$17/hr.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform job responsibilities with a strong sense of urgency, enthusiasm and professionalism as needed to maintain a high standard consistent with the company's culture and goals.
  • Implement HR programs and projects as outlined by VP of Operations and that the company complies with HR practices and standards.

o Notify the VP of Operations of any high risk incidents or conditions.

o Educate yourself on HR policies, employment laws and regulations for all states.
  • Insure successful completion of your job related duties

o Make sure all work completed meets company quality standards.

o Make sure all necessary reports and records are complete, timely, and accurate.

o Insure supplies are within inventory guidelines.

o Coordinate all station sponsored employee activities.

o Complete all mailings within specified guidelines.
  • Administer various employee benefit programs and policies

o Enforce that all stations comply with workers compensation requirements

o Educate and enroll employees in programs the company provides and instruct and assist them as needed.

o Maintain proper records and process reports as needed.

o Manage all termination processing and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain a workable knowledge of regulatory requirements

o Assist in the implementation and compliance of the corporate safety program.

o Conduct Safety Audits and work with VP of Operations to resolve corrective actions.
  • Special Projects as assigned by Management

o Make all travel arrangements for managers as requested.
  • Make sure the department provides the support required by other departments and stations to maximize customer and vendor satisfaction and optimize profit.

o Complete tasks requested from each department in a timely and accurate manner.

o Be responsive to other stations or other department needs.

o Perform employee orientation for all new staff

Education and Experience
  • Required Education - High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred Education - Degree in Human resources or HR certificate.

Competencies
  • Basic Computer Skills including e-mail, web browsing, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Excellent customer service and vendor relations skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently handling various responsibilities with competing priorities.

Language Skills
  • Must be able to read, write and clearly communicate with poise and confidence in English over the phone and in person with customers, vendors and staff.

Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations
  • Must possess the capabilities to obtain the following Certifications.
  • Driver's License and valid insurance.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to read documents, forms and computer screens.
  • Ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously.
  • Clearly communicate face to face, over the phone or through e-mail.

Work Environment
  • Environment is fast paced
  • 40 Hours per week and 5 days per week.
