The Administrative Director of Case Management directs, coordinates, and administers the operations and activities of the case management, social services, clinical documentation improvement (CDI), chaplain services, and denials management programs for the hospital. The Administrative Director is responsible for evaluating care/services provided, staffing levels, competence and educational needs of all his or her employees. The Administrative Director provides consultation and education to facility leadership, clinical and financial personnel, and medical staff members related to case management, social services, clinical documentation improvement and denials management practices. The Administrative Director identifies and implements processes that support and promote efficient patient throughput, resulting in optimal clinical outcomes, appropriate utilization of resources, and appropriate and accurate reimbursement. The Administrative Director maintains a supportive environment for performance improvement and is responsive to organizational change and community needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Graduate of an accredited nursing baccalaureate program, MSN preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years case management experience required.

Minimum of 2 years management experience, preferably in a medical facility setting



Special Qualifications:
