Job Description

The Concierge team provides exceptional service to hotel guests. San Diego experts on the area, they explain the fabulous attractions and hidden gems that this city has to offer in accordance with the specific interests and budget of each guest. The Concierge provides in-depth information, makes recommendations and arranges plans to ensure that each guest makes the most of their time in America's Finest City.


  • Be fully acquainted with a wide variety of points of interest and keep abreast of any changes or new attractions throughout the region.
  • Eloquently describe local offerings and make recommendations based on the particular interests and budget of each guest.
  • Arrange restaurant reservations and transportation as requested by our guests.
  • Arrange admission ticket purchases as requested by our guests.
  • Creatively tailor the recommendations and special accomodations to WOW each guest.
  • Arrange amenities for guests celebrating special occasions.
  • Set up special packages that include pre-calls from the concierge and specialized amenities.
  • Effectively communicate with other departments to ensure that guest's needs and special requests are satisfied.
  • Speak with guests in a friendly, warm manner making them feel welcome to the hotel.
  • Proactively work to seek out ways in which to improve the hotel experience for our guests.


  • Previous concierge experience in a hotel is required.
  • Previous luxury hotel experience is highly preferred.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for the entire scheduled shift.
  • Customer service oriented, ability to multi-task, detail orientation, and excellent organizational skills required.
  • Knowledge of the surrounding area and all of its attractions.
  • Knowledge of Property Management Systems and related computer programs
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.
