Membership Sales Representative - Fitness Centre & Day Spa - Celebration
Celebration seeks to hire Membership Sales Representative who will embrace our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.

Established in 1997 and now a 203-bed hospital, Florida Hospital Celebration Health was designed as a Mediterranean resort-style facility to serve as a cornerstone of health in Disney's planned community of Celebration, Florida. Department Profile:
The Fitness Centre & Day Spa at Florida Hospital Celebration Health is a facility designed to meet the health and wellness needs of its members and guests. Voted the "Best Workout Facility" and "Best Day Spa" in Orlando for 2014, the 50,000 square-foot facility features state-of-the-art equipment such as Technogym, over 250 Group Fitness classes per month including Zumba, Les MillsTM, yoga and aquatics, a heated therapy pool and 25-meter lap pool, and full service locker rooms complete with saunas, steam rooms, showers and amenities. The Day Spa offers a variety of relaxing and rejuvenating services from a team of licensed therapists, including Swedish and Therapeutic massages, facials, manicures and pedicures, and acupuncture treatments. At the Fitness Centre & Day Spa in Celebration Health the focus is on total wellness of "Body, Mind & Spirit!".

Job Summary:
The Membership Sales Representative is responsible for membership (and other pertinent) sales for the Fitness Centre & Day Spa at Celebration Health. Delivers outstanding customer service to all guests, clients and members of the facility creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere. Provides tours, membership sales, upselling of fitness/spa products and services along with working to increase member referrals, prospects and follow up to build on member engagement and the overall member experience. Works with Business Development Coordinator and Marketing team to create new promotion of sales and services. Travels to local events to increase sales and outreach to the community and corporate partners. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Knowledge, Skills, Education, & Experience Required:
  • One year of sales or customer service experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong administrative and selling skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Public speaking ability
  • Three years of experience in sales including business to business (Preferred)
  • Health and wellness industry experience (Preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in a customer service or health and wellness related field (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Gym Management Software (Preferred)


Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:
  • CPR/First Aid certificate


Job Responsibilities:
Demonstrates through behavior Florida Hospital's Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship and Teamwork as outlined in the organization's Performance Excellence Program
  • Creates a rapport with clients/members and potential clients/members on behalf of FHILM and Florida Hospital. Sets a tone of professionalism and superior service from the start and supports that tone through all interactions with clients/members and stakeholders.
  • Conducts gym tours, new temporary and contract member agreements and assists current members with account updates and changes. Generates appointments through member referrals, networking, formal presentation, master systems and phone calls.
  • Maintains accurate records of all appointments, referrals, sales prospects and promotions. Completes all necessary paperwork as required.
  • Promotes specials and upsells other services and products to new members, current members and guests and the community.
  • Completes daily agreements, membership audits and assigned daily planner for member and prospect follow ups.
  • Works with Business Development Coordinator and Marketing team on strategies for successful sales growth of FHILM memberships, products and services. Researches and presents new product, promotions and service opportunities to FHILM leaders.
  • Consistently achieves or surpasses personal and club sales goals.
  • Travels to local trade shows, health fairs, conferences and events as a member of the Fitness Centre & Day Spa Sales team.
  • Works with Front Desk team in coverage and operation of Point of Sale (POS) in club management software. Performs booking of appointments of FHILM services in club management software. Including personal training, specialist services, day spa services, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
