We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Manager Content position that will be based in our Digital Marketing department. This position is based in Altamonte Springs, FL.

This position will have the opportunity to be responsible for the development, management, and evaluation of strategic, multichannel content that educates and engages consumers. This position reports to the Director of Content Strategy and supervises digital content staff.

Specific job duties include:
  • Responsible for supporting the strategic vision of the Executive Director of Digital Strategy and Director of Content Strategy.
  • Manage and elevate content staff, including recruiting, training, mentoring, and supervision.
  • Guide digital content staff in delivering strategic online content for websites, blogs, email marketing, social media, video scripts, campaign collateral, etc.
  • Work closely with leadership across the organization to manage the strategic planning, implementation, analysis, and optimization of content for all digital channels and campaigns.
  • Drive content development across patient journeys and consumer decision cycles.
  • Provide orchestration among team members, leadership, key stakeholders and internal teams (such as IT) and vendors/partners to ensure content is successfully delivered.
  • Develop organizational content creation goals, strategy, and tactics, including the development of content strategies and associated editorial calendars to propel engagement with Adventist Health System.
  • Provide content strategy recommendations based on information through content analysis, site audits, competitive assessments, focus group testing, and metrics.
  • Work with department leaders across the organization to discover creative content solutions to business challenges.
  • Design workflows for content lifecycle processes that include: content creation, review and approval cycles, localization models, content publishing, content analysis and content optimization and/or content archival.
  • Manage content inventories, audits, analyses, and migrations across multiple digital platforms.
  • Perform ongoing analyses, message mapping, content audits, etc. to drive strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure education on and adherence to brand standards, digital brand standards, style guides and approved messaging for all digital content.
  • Establish and/or maintain editorial standards and accuracy/quality of content.
  • Increase website traffic by producing content that ranks and converts.
  • Monitor and update the status of content jobs assigned on a daily basis, and communicate progress to leadership.
  • Assist with the development of content strategy roadmaps that support business needs and growth goals.
  • Establish and implement social media and email marketing content strategies.
  • Define, establish and manage content-related metrics to measure the effectiveness of content solutions including: ROI, content/brand integrity, content accuracy and relevance, efficiencies gained in content lifecycle improvements.
  • Collaborate on the creation, implementation and maintenance of editorial calendars to align content releases with service launches, business activities and promotions.
  • Demonstrate and advise others on digital storytelling best practices.
  • Plan, write, edit, test and improve content. Approve content from other digital content staff.
  • Manage website content and information architecture/structure to support an intuitive user experience.
  • Continually evaluate efforts and determine resources (e.g. staffing, vendors, costs) needed for future success.
  • Display high competency in project management, working in a fast-paced and complex environment, execution of large projects, and working under multiple and competing deadlines.

Experience Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience required

Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English or related field required
