Job Description

The Administrative Specialist coordinates all aspects of operating library Course Reserves, is responsible for library book/media acquisitions, leads the library marketing team, oversees office supply inventory and ordering, and assists the Director, as required. Coordinates projects for the Director and produces documents. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Effective managerial skills, strong team player Professional communication skills, including strong writing skills Thrives in fast-paced environment and adapts easily to change Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills Ability to gather and analyze data and write departmental reports Excellent attention to detail Proactive work ethic and ability to work independently Intermediate computer skills Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Associate~s degree in Library Science, Business or related field 2 years office management experience.
