Job Description

The Marketing Technology Manager will create and execute innovative technology solutions for CRM, ecommerce, marketing and data analysis and own the functional data and technical aspects of the department. Our team's focus is customer experience, engagement through unique, industry-leading solutions for GHA and its 35 global hotel brands. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to build on our excellent data and technology foundation to connect the dots between customer experience and the technology behind it.


  • Be the expert on technology in our key areas including web, mobile, campaign execution, personalization, testing /optimisation, data feeds and analysis, and integration of marketing technology across channels for GHA and its brands
  • Maximise current solutions built on our core foundation (Oracle Hospitality, OBIEE and Oracle Marketing Cloud, customme APIs) and investigate recommend future solutions
  • Identify, recommend and integrate solutions for customer facing web sites and internal tools for our GHA and brand teams across the globe
  • Own functional design and implementation of the end-to-end solution
  • Manage processes to create and activate 1st/2nd/3rd party data and ongoing data management, governance with key focus on customer privacy protections
  • Work with business owners for development and QA teams to drive execution excellence
  • Manage and communicate with internal and brand teams


  • Bachelor's degree (computer science or technical field preferred)
  • Experience and knowledge of data structure and transfer including application interfaces, configuration of interfaces, and integrating vendor solutions
  • Ability to maintain and support interfaces between application systems including design, installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades and security
  • Experience preferred of Oracle Micros Opera Central Systems and customer profile management (Opera OCIS) including loyalty membership or similar products
  • Experience preferred of Oracle's Marketing Cloud or Salesforce or familiarity with similar Marketing cloud, Email Service Provider systems
  • Experience with Web Service technologies like XML, REST API, Json
  • Experience with SQL and Oracle databases
  • Experience using and configuring FTP/SFTP clients
  • Experience working with BI tools and batch scripts a plus
