Activation Support Analyst



GENERAL SUMMARY :

The Activation Support Analyst, reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Clinical Initiatives, provides outstanding customer service for registration/scheduling and electronic medical records (EMR) in the Athena and Cerner systems, and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. The Activation Support Analyst serves Florida Hospital Medical Group by becoming a super user of the registration/scheduling and the EMR modules in Athena and Cerner.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Proctor classes for end users on registration / scheduling and EMR systems
Prepares training classes by:
Staging patient scenarios
Creating and tracking sign-in sheets
Maintaining list of parking lot items to follow-up on
Assists in the end-user's education, staff development, and success
Responds to customer requests via ServiceNow tickets, adhering to organizational SLA
Reviews metric reports (such as Sentinel Metrics, After-Hours, Care-Checks, Productivity) and documents findings into tracking spreadsheet
Activates and supports provider's offices upon request, during defined implementation phase
Assists with support of projects upon request


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED :
  • Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Possesses strong conflict resolution skills
  • Self-motivated requiring limited management supervision
  • Understands Medical Terminology


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
    • Familiarity and understand of EMR systems


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
  • High School diploma or equivalent


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
    • Medical Assistant experience
