Job Summary
Maintains the daily operation of the department to include supervision of all assigned imaging modalities, team members, and services.

Essential Functions
  • Supervises the daily operations of all assigned modalities.
  • Assists with functions related to human resources. Assists with the budget process.
  • Assists with the collection, analysis, and distribution of various reports/documents/statistical data required for performance improvement, customer service, patient safety, and TJC.
  • Serves as a role model/mentor and provides guidance for team members with regard to core values and service excellence standards.
  • Addresses complaints/errors by investigating and reporting to leadership team.
Physical Requirements
Requires moderate to heavy physical efforts in lifting and moving patients up to 75 lbs., equipment, and supplies. Motor coordination needed to operate heavy and delicate equipment. Requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, stretching, bending, twisting, squatting, and kneeling. Vision and hearing for distances up to 10 feet.

Education, Experience and Certifications
Completion of a formal AMA approved Radiologic Technology program required. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required. 3 to 5 years of experience within the radiology field required. BCLS certification required. Supervisory experience preferred.
