We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Implementation Manager position that will be based in our TalentCare department. This position is based at our solutions center in Altamonte Springs, FL.

Reporting to the Director of Implementation, the Implementation Manager is responsible for planning, leading, and managing multiple projects under the iSynergy ERP initiative. The Implementation Manager must ensure all business, technical and hospital stakeholders are engaged, and projects are completed per the project schedule .

Specific job duties include:
  • The Implementation Manager will support the Talent Development (TalentCare) initiative within Adventist Health System's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) initiative, iSynergy.
  • Oversees and coordinates project team members including consultants, communications, training, security, technical, functional (including contact center), and hospital/facility
    • Includes coordination / oversight of iSynergy HR (HRIS), Org Readiness, Org Effectiveness, team members are participating in project activity.
    • Includes coordination for extended project team members including facility HR and other facility resources that are assigned to the TalentCare project for each facility.
  • Work with Functional teams to update human resources processes including performance management, compensation administration, and succession management
  • Plan, control and execute project requirements, following implementation playbook methodology, to ensure business and information technology objectives are met.Ensure that iSynergy ERP project activities are coordinated with other AHS projects, limiting impact to facilities, resources, and overall timeline.Define, manage and monitor project-wide reporting and tracking for customer and executive review.Work with functional and technical leadership for resource assignment to project activity. Work with functional and technical leaders to define/refine project roles and responsibilities.Work closely with the Organizational Readiness team to champion and ensure execution of the implementation playbook methodology.
  • Work with facility, functional and technical resources to develop project plans detailing work break down structures and critical paths.
  • Ensure requirements are contained within defined scope.
  • Perform risk management planning, risk identification and mitigation.
  • Document and drive issues through resolution, escalation to project leadership, functional/technical, and facility leadership as necessary.
  • Serve in a key leadership role engaging the hospital/facility project team and stakeholders.
  • Develop relationships across the team to allow for cross-functional issue resolution and risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate the deployment teams assigned to each facility implementation.
  • Follow established change control processes.
  • Create and track project plans, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Lead project status meetings.
  • Pro-actively work to resolve issues/risks and monitor progress through resolution.
  • Ensure detailed project documentation is maintained including meeting minutes, issues/risks logs, and action items.
  • Identify and document opportunities for:
    • Efficiency and process improvements
    • Lessons learned from previous rollouts and application to future deployments or/or operational support
  • Decision-making authority for day-to-day project tasks and assignments.
  • Uses judgment and discretion in escalating issues to project leadership.
  • Work with Functional, Technical, and Facility leaders to help facilities adopt standard practices and procedures within the scope of the project.


Qualifications:

Knowledge & Skills Required:
  • Proven track record of large-scale implementations
  • IT or ERP functional management experience
  • Experience with executive-level communications and presentations
  • Expert level experience with Microsoft Project
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Ability to solve complex practical problems
  • Ability to drive diverse viewpoints to consensus
  • Process development and analysis experience
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, requirements, and procedures
  • Capable of understanding organizational traits and strategically utilizing those skills to work with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to coordinate remote and local resources and logistics

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

Experience Requirements:
  • 2+ years implementing an ERP system required
  • 2+ years implementing other large or complex systems in Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain or healthcare required
  • 5 years of experience in successful Project Management preferred
  • Oracle PeopleSoft system and process knowledge in the areas of HCM and FSCM preferred
  • Experience in Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources and/or the healthcare field preferred
  • Continuing education and / or experience in Project Management, Organization Change Management, Business, Information Technology or other business related software or practice such as PeopleSoft, Ag ile, Six Sigma, etc. preferred

Licensure, Certification or Registration:
  • PMP Certification or equivalent project management certification preferred
