OUR CLIENT IN CHATSWORTH, CA. IS SEEKING A:

Warehouse Manager:



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible to coach, communicate with Customer Service Associates, VP's and CEO.
  • Manage, lead, motivate and develop department personnel including selection, performance management
  • Manage warehouse activities, including loading/unloading route and OTR trucks, repack, warehouse cleanliness
  • Coordinate and/route deliveries, sub-loads and hot shots
  • Manage physical inventories, inventory forecasting, stock rotation and procedures governing product flow
  • Direct responsibilities for budgets and expenses
  • Participate in grievance proceedings and workers compensation claims, where applicable
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and government safety regulations and requirements
  • Ensure compliance with all legal guidelines, Wholesaler Equity Agreement and A-B standards and policies



SKILLS:
  • Experience working with small and large teams, team player is a must
  • Ability to work independently on projects and reports
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills required.
  • MS Office, Internet, Excel, QuickBooks,
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have worked in a very high paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to organize, prioritizes, and follows through on tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-start, multi-task, establish & balance conflicting priorities, identify risks to missing deadlines and proactively provide status to executives accordingly.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, exhibiting discretion, tact and professional demeanor.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel.
  • Must be able to pay close attention to complex detail and understand written and oral instructions.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Prior supervisory and operations experience a plus
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work flexible hours as necessary
  • Ability to set priorities and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of safety, environmental and Department of Transportation requirements
  • Strong leadership and influence skills
  • Strong internal and external customer orientation



REQUIRED EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED

College Degree if available but not required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

5 years in Customer Service, Electrical background welcome

Experience with Microsoft Programs, Excel and QuickBooks
