Seeking an Administrative Assistant to function in a strategic position that will support the overall operations of our family of Physician Practices and leadership team. We are seeking a great addition to the team who feels patient care is as important as we do!

  • Provides administrative support including typing, composing and proofreading correspondence, indexing and filing documents.
  • Answers inquires or refers callers/visitors to appropriate individuals.
  • Compiles reports from data and existing records.
  • Gathers information and develops summaries as requested.
  • Assists with development and implementation of budget and operational plans.
  • Develops and implements office procedures related to coordination of interoffice communication, records, system.
  • Ensures adequacy of office supplies and equipment.
  • Schedules/coordinates meetings, appointments. Make travel arrangements.
  • Assists other staff as requested.
  • Attends meetings as assigned and reports on actions.
  • Participates in educational activities and programs.
  • Maintains strictest confidentiality.
  • Performs related work as required.
  • Maintain appointment calendars as needed
  • Practice and adhere to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement".

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS & ABILITIES- This position requires the following minimum requirements:

  • Proficient at MicrosoftWord, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
  • Microsoft Project and Visio a plus.
  • Knowledge of organization policies, procedures, systems.
  • Knowledge of office management practices.
  • Knowledge of administrative assistant procedures.
  • Knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation to type from draftcopy.
  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic to make calculations, balanceand reconcile figures, and make changes accurately.

  • High School Graduate or GED preferred.
  • Associate degree in business administration is strongly preferred.
  • Administrative assistant programis preferred.

  • 3 to 7 years of administrative experience
  • Experience in a health care organization is preferred.
  • Additionalappropriate education may be substituted for administrative experience.

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE - None. CertifiedAdministrative Professional or Organizational Management Certificate is preferred.
