Florida Hospital Celebration seeks to hire a Clinic Coordinator who will embrace our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.

Facility Profile:
Established in 1997 and now a 203-bed hospital, Florida Hospital Celebration Health was designed as a Mediterranean resort-style facility to serve as a cornerstone of health in Disney's planned community of Celebration, Florida. The hospital consistently delivers a state-of-the-art healing environment to residents of Osceola, Orange, Polk and Lake Counties, as well as to visitors from across the United States and the world. Work Hours/Shifts:
Monday - Friday; 7:00am - 3:00pm

Job Summary:
The Florida Hospital Executive Health Program (EHP) Clinic Coordinator is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect care of an assigned group of adult patients. Responsible for quality and continuity of patient care within the clinic. Participates in selecting employees for the clinic through interviewing and hiring process in conjunction with the Manager. Develops unit activities that support the elements of extending excellence with guidance from the Manager. Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Knowledge, Skills, Education, & Experience Required:
  • Broad nursing knowledge
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer relations skills; ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
  • Flexibility in prioritization, ability to multitask, and critical thinking/problem solving skills

  • Three years of experience as a medical/surgical nurse
  • Physician office experience (Preferred)


Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:
  • Current active State of Florida RN license
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists Manager with the oversight and supervision of clinic staff. Participates in selecting employees for the clinic through interviewing and hiring process in conjunction with the Manager.
  • Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of employees and physicians.
  • Utilizes leadership skills through timely, appropriate decisions and organizational ability with appropriate priority setting.
  • Achieves the goals and objectives of Executive Health Program as agreed upon with the Manager. Participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities and evidence-based practice initiatives. Accurately documents and monitors activities.
  • Provides a safe environment. Directs patient care activities and documentation. Gives patient care as needed. Performs investigation into accidents, critical incidents, and complaints of patients, visitors, physicians, and staff.
  • Monitors the clinic's schedules; organizes patient care by having the patient prepared and ready on time for the physician's visit. Daily code cart checks.
  • Obtains patient history including vital signs, reason for visit, and allergies. Completes appropriate documentation following nursing protocols. Performs the following tests: hearing, vision, carotid ultrasound, H. pylori, and venipuncture.
  • Assists the physician with examinations and procedures performed and medication refills. Maintains open communication to ensure quality care.
  • Regularly audits ordered tests to ensure results are received and followed up on in a timely manner to ensure quality health care. Communicates results clearly with the physicians.
  • Monitors appropriate level of nursing supplies and proper functioning and maintenance of instruments and equipment and reports needs to the Manager.
