Job Description

The Bretton Arms Inn is looking for a Full Time Valet Attendant/ Bellperson to join our team! This will be a combined position consisting of both Valet Attendant and Bellperson job duties and responsibilities.


Retrieve and park guest's vehicles. Proper logging and storage/security of valet keys.
To assist with guest packages/luggage.
To properly "log" all trips originating from the Bell Stand and Motor Drive.
Responsible for a clean and "smart" appearance in uniform.
Knowledgeable about all hotel amenities.
To be conversant with all hotel promotional programs (guest related).
Ensures the cleanliness of the Bellstand, storage room and the remainder of the Inn and Lobby as set forth by the Inns Keeper on an as needed basis.
Greet our guests in a friendly, warm manner.
Maintain an orderly log of forms.
Follow up check of stored packages.
Notifies Front Desk and Guest Services of VIP arrivals whenever possible.
Be fully acquainted with different points of interest.
Accept other duties as required by management.
To pro-actively work to seek out ways in which to improve the hotel experience for our guests.
Demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy.


Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
