Job Summary
Ensures integrity of financial and statistical data information through output from financial/statistical feeder systems into various reporting and budget general ledger environments. Develops and implements departmental standards for ensuring data integrity when there are changes in the financial system data structures and develops written procedures that can be used in training and information dissemination to staff and system user group.

Essential Functions
  • Coordinates and oversees the control table maintenance of the financial systems based on prescribed guidelines.
  • Develops procedures and system documentation following prescribed formats and guidelines to be utilized by financial system users.
  • Provides direction and guidance on specific projects and tasks performed by other teammates.
  • Develops prototypes and writes standard and ad hoc reports and queries utilizing the delivered report writing and query tools.
  • Keeps departmental staff informed of changes in system architecture that may impact the job routines they perform.
  • Oversees the daily operations of the department-specific finance system support functions.
  • Analyzes problem areas and resolves them satisfactorily without compromising data integrity.
  • Provides instruction to financial system functional users on the use of key system features.
Physical Requirements
Work requires sitting for prolonged periods of time, working at a computer, lifting and moving reports and notebooks weighing up to 10 pounds. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Education, Experience and Certifications
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance is required. 2 or 3 years of related work experience is preferred.
