The Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute at Johnston-Willis is looking for dosimetrist to join our fast-paced team to provide high quality, compassionate patient centered care. We have 2 LinAcs (Trilogy and Truebeam), a dedicated CT simulator, and HDR/LDR programs. Our cancer program is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR). We have been awarded the prestigious title of Sarah Cannon Center of Excellence due to our commitment to cancer care. We have also been recently recognized as a top performer across Sarah Cannon based on our high patient volume, appropriate use of IMRT and increasing patient satisfaction.

• Works as part of a two-person dosimetry team, applying knowledge and skills in advanced treatment planning techniques using Aria Eclipse 13.6.
o IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRT, 3D, and electron planning.
• Responsible for documentation and billing related to treatment planning.
• Performs secondary calculation checks, hand calculations for electron plans, IMRT/VMAT verification plans.
• Performs intra-op planning for prostate brachytherapy.
• Simulates or supervises simulation of patients, using GE Lightspeed CT simulator.
• Provides supervision, guidance and education for dosimetry and therapy students.
• Schedules and notifies patients of simulation and treatment procedures.
• Communicates with physician, physicist and therapist to ensure accurate and achievable treatment plans.
• Performs mold room duties.
• Provides appropriate teaching to patients and family.


Required- Two to five years experience in Radiation Therapy
Preferred- Two years in Dosimetry


Required- Certified or Board Eligible Dosimetrist by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB)
Preferred- Certified by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy

Work Schedule: M - F 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
