Job Description

Job Summary:

Reduce the investment in accounts receivable consistent with the goals of the organization.

Essential Accountabilities:
  1. Submits claims to all applicable third parties a timely manner.
  2. Collects payment from insurance companies or individuals.
  3. Responsible for handling customer inquiries.
  4. Assumes the role of patient advocate.

Required Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Education:

Associate's Degree

Required Experience: Minimum of two years related healthcare experience and/or business or banking experience.

Preferred Experience: Minimum of two years' experience: Insurance follow-up, billing, claims processing, coding, and customer service experience in a hospital or physician's office.
