The EMPI Analyst - Intermediate position is primarily responsible for supporting efforts related to the design, evaluation, testing and maintenance of IBM InfoSphere MDM. The position is also expected to assist in activities that cover the analysis, design, build, implementation and support of Person Management Applications. Must be able to perform all other tasks assigned by the Project Director, Project Manager, Application Director or Application Manager. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, evaluation, implementation, testing, scheduling and maintenance of analytical reports within the IBM InfoSphere MDM.

• Assist team members in the analysis, design, build, implementation and support of Person Management Applications.

• Although this individual will be trained in building, training, installing and supporting the Person Management Applications, they will be involved in other development projects that impact Cerner Revenue Cycle as well as other clinical applications.

• Provides on-call support and back up support for other team members based on assigned areas of responsibility in a timely and effective manner by maintaining an AIT approved device that enables quick accessibility and support. Complies with current AIT escalation procedures. Solves software problems via the phone or in person in an efficient and professional manner.

• Creates and provides department and/or customer documentation.

• Provides go-live and system project support as needed.

• Participates in collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders within multiple venues while facilitating all responsibilities as outlined above.


Desirable Job Experience:

• At least 3 years' experience SDK development and support.

• At least 3 years' experience with hand-on implementation of Master Data Management (Standard and /or Advanced Edition).

• At least 3 years' experience with advanced InfoSphere MDM platform tuning.

• At least 3 years' experience with various scripting languages such as but not limited to Java, JavaScript and SQL.

• At least 3 years' experience with large and complex data management projects.

Educational requirements:

Bachelor's degree required - preferred in related field such as Business Management, Computer Sciences, Information Services, or Hospital Management.
