This position will clean and prepare work area and machine for next workday or shift at the end of shift. In addition, all operators will be crossed trained in the ProCard Products packaging and shipping area. Operator Levels: Operators are placed in levels 1 - 5. All operators enter employment as a level one (1) operator. Advancement is based on knowledge of operations, troubleshooting, performance, and various other reviewed categories. An additional addendum will be given to each operator based on advancement. To advance to a level 2 operator the following minimum requirements must be met in addition to a minimum of 90 days employment. Requirements will be evaluated directly with the employee by the Tape Layer Production Supervisor or through evaluation of the employee by a Level 5 operator as directed by the supervisor. 1. Prepare Machine for start of shift, which include necessary materials and paperwork. 2. Read work orders and communicate with coworkers to determine machine and equipment settings and adjustments and supply and product specifications. 3. Perform duties necessary to operate machine and perform required tasks according to machine or position procedures. 4. Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and report or resolve problems. 5. Complete all necessary paperwork required for machine operated on for the position. 6. Clean machines at end of shift to prepare for next workday or next shift. 7. Clean and stock work area in preparation for next workday or shift. 8. Labeling and packaging material. Assisting packaging area as directed. 9. Remove jammed materials from machines and readjust components as necessary to resume normal operations. 10. Examine and measure completed materials or products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring devices such as tape measures, gauges, or calipers, and other verification devices. 11.
