Every other Friday the Management Team hosts an Associate Appreciation event to show their appreciation for their associates and give them a much deserved break from the work day. The Omni Richmond prides itself on having a bi-annual management training class where current associates participate in a 6 month program to prepare them for advancing their careers. Job Description Dynamic sales individual responsible for key corporate account production, satisfaction and development. This engaging professional will coordinate with all hotel departments to achieve the highest level of client satisfaction. Planning and community involvement are also key to this position's success. Will report to Director of Sales and Marketing. Responsibilities Develop and grow transient business segments to include ESP, Consortia and Wholesale Achieve strategic rate growth through analysis and utilizing all tools available including but not limited to hotel amenities, day of week pricing and seasonality Comfortable with face to face presentations, relationship building and telephone solicitation Fully develop Corporate Transient market segments (ESP, Consortia, Government) and achieve room night and revenue goals for all three segments. Emphasize higher rated, less price sensitive business traveling on shoulder days of the week, as prescribed by individual hotels. Maintain weekly telephone and outside solicitation, travel agency presentations. Track all accounts daily including Consortia, ESP, and Government segments. Is current and abides by all sales office procedures and systems. Participate in weekly marketing and rooms merchandising meetings, monthly sales meetings, stand up daily and monthly sales meetings as assigned by the Director of Sales. Maintain relationships with GSO's. Attend monthly ESP conference calls with corporate office. Monthly VBTA meetings/participation. Yearly training with corporate. Qualifications Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must have at least 1 year of sales experience or relatable experience. Strong customer service skills. College degree preferred, hospitality degree preferred.
