Job Description Provide training and support to all purchasing managers and purchasing directors at the property level to ensure consistent purchasing processes, adherence to national programs and compliance with brand standard purchases. Responsibilities Develop and administer field Procurement audit program to measure vendor and item compliance, purchasing process standards and effective Birch Street use Provide training and support to all purchasing managers and purchasing directors to ensure consistent purchasing processes Provide training and support to all purchasing managers and purchasing directors to ensure adherence to national programs and vendors. Research any vendor issues at the property level and bring to corporate Procurement team for resolution. Provide training and support to all purchasing managers and purchasing directors to ensure compliance of brand standards and item specifications Responsible for properly ensuring all purchase orders are adhering within Omni processes of receiving, storing and issuance to the supplier community Serve as Procurement taskforce for any properties needing additional assistance - due to attrition, new hires, work load increase, etc. Full onsite support and training for all Omni acquisitions and new build properties. Assist in all OSE orders in with acquisition properties Assist outside buyer consultant group on all new build properties on all OSE items and vendor/item brand standards Assist in rollout of new vendors and programs with property purchasing teams and monitor compliance Support and be a resource for all purchasing managers and purchasing directors at the property level Qualifications Four or more years experience working as a purchasing manager or director in a hotel environment Bachelors Degree or equivalent hospitality experience Must be service and detail oriented; possessing a friendly approachable demeanor and strong problem-solving skills Strong knowledge of purchasing, accounts payable and receiving processes Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels Strong process-documentation skills Computer proficiency; to include Microsoft Office including Excel application Omni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity employer - vets/disability.
