Job Description: A full time opportunity is available for a skilled and highly organized individual to provide general maintenance services and repairs of all facility property. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for responding to maintenance requests and resolving maintenance issues in a timely manner, performing routine maintenance as needed, and participating as a team member with other staff in facility renovations. The Maintenance Technician will report to the Maintenance Supervisor. Job Requirements: Qualified candidates will have a minimum of five years experience in various building trades, the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance related issues, possess excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Painting and drywall skills are a plus. Qualified candidates must demonstrate the ability to cooperate and work as a team member to ensure the quality of facility services, assist in maintaining supplies and keeping storerooms clean and organized, and be available to respond to after hour emergencies. Team member should demonstrate the personal characteristics deemed essential for personnel associated with a Nursing Home/Retirement Community, and possess the ability to forge mutually respectful partnerships with co-workers, residents and members of the community. Required education: High School Diploma or GED minimum, Associate or Bachelor degree in a technical or business field is preferred.
