Posting Job Title Sr Analyst, Fin Sys Reporting Requisition # 115690BR Location United States - North Carolina - Charlotte Area of Interest Finance/Accounting Position Type Full Time Posting Job Description The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a Sr Analyst, Finance Systems Reporting in our Consolidated Accounting and Reporting group. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position. This position will assist in the accurate and timely recording of corporate financial transactions and the preparation and analyzes of consolidated group reporting to corporate senior management. Identify report enhancement needs, prioritize and document business requirements, develop new reports and modify existing reports written in PeopleSoft Query, PeopleSoft nVision, Excel, Hyperion, and Cognos. This position will support the department and company wide users in all reporting functions. The Sr. Financial Systems Reporting Analyst will design and develop special reports using PeopleSoft nVision and other software on request from the department end user's and management. - Participate in project planning activities, including detailed project tasks. - Provide individual and group support to corporate department users with the use of financial reporting software. - Review problems, corrections and issues in regards to reporting with end users. - Work on multiply projects concurrently with minimal supervision and meet all deadlines. - Deliver new or updated reports timely and ensure accuracy. - Understand the business process and the end result of all needed reports. - Prepare financial and statistical reports for senior management on a regular and ad hoc basis. - Participate in company's external audit, including the preparation of supporting schedules for independent auditors. - Perform other analysis and special projects as requested by the company's senior financial management team. Preferred Qualifications: .MBA . Licensed Certified Public Accountant .
