Position Description
The Lowes.com Business Analyst is responsible for the gathering and documenting both future state requirements and performing current state analysis and documentation in support of Lowes.com projects and/or the maintenance and enhancement of the Lowes.com family of applications. The Lowes.com Business Analyst works closely with the Lowes.com business, other IT departments, and resource and software vendors in the analysis, design, and implementation of new features to Lowes.com system, the maintenance of current systems, and the procedures and work-flow associated with each.
The Lowes.com Business Analyst responsibilities include but are not limited to:
. Identifying business stakeholders and areas of impact
. Develops requirements gathering approach strategy
. Gathers and analyzes business requirements from clients and stakeholders
. Develops business requirements documentation
. Developing business solution design document (BSD)
. Assist the business with their training strategy and plan
. Assists the business with their user acceptance Testing(UAT) plan, scenarios and execution
. Change request management throughout the lifecycle of the initiative
. Creating/finalizing requirements gathering approach deliverable
. Scheduling, coordinating, preparing and facilitating formal requirements gathering sessions including reviewing/assessing current state and developing future state, identifying gaps
. Facilitating requirement prioritization
. Creating/finalizing and obtaining business sign-off on the business requirements document (BRD) & business solution document (BSD)
. Maintaining traceability matrix
. Managing timeline for gathering requirements
. Creating business use cases
Position Requirements
. Three to seven years of business analysis experience
. A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or comparable job-related experience is required
. Strong understanding of large-scale commerce enabled web properties
. Demonstrable ability to successfully deliver technical solutions to business problems

Position Description
Prepare fixture and merchandise plans which can be supported by Merchandising, Store Operations, Planogramming, Store Environment, and Display Management. Develop and prepare Remerchandising project plans to support aligned Merchandise Divisions. Plan and prepare remerchandising plans which reflect the requests of Store Operations. Utilize Remerchandising survey visit checklist to develop and apply each store's approved scope of work items. Review store specific variances with Store Planning Management, to ensure standard remerchandising store plans are accurately prepared and cost estimates & project duration requirements can be achieved.
Support Major Resets and Rollback Projects by working with partners in VSM and Merchandising on existing store formats and scope of work development. Develop model layouts and/or store specific reset plans, which can be implemented in the field, to support new Merchandising strategies or products. Responsible for the review process, plan development, revision updates, plan distribution, and ensuring project tracking schedules are maintained and all project plans are completed accurately and on time.
Assist Store Planning Management in the professional development of Store Planner I's aligned with same merchandising groups by encouraging the development of their knowledge of merchandising philosophies.
Occasional travel to stores and off-site meetings, to include overnight stays, is required.
Position Requirements
