Purpose: The purpose of this position is to provide a focal point for the Commercial Services sales training and development needs of the region in a manner consistent with Time Warner Cable policies, procedures, quality standards, customer needs and applicable local, state and federal regulations.

Essential Job Functions:
.Conduct other training venues including but not limited to new employee, sales skills, systems, special product launches, sales promotions, one-on-one coaching, and refresher training for the Account Consultants, Account Managers, Account Executives, and Major Account Sales.
.Integrates his/her current field sales skills and techniques into the corporate and field training program to ensure instructor-led training is as realistic to the position as possible.
.Incorporates eLearning modules into the training curriculum and supports coaching/support associated with post-learning activities.
.Prepares lesson plans relevant to training material.
.May track and analyze training programs by examining training participants' job performance.
.May recommend changes to the training programs and assist in the development of new programs.
.Analyzes course evaluations in order to judge effectiveness of training sessions and to implement suggestions for improvements.
.Knows and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization.
.Under supervision, performs work that is varied and that may be somewhat difficult in character, but usually involves limited responsibility. Some evaluation, originality or ingenuity is required.
.Monitors training results through employee progress and maintains records of training attendance to determine program effectiveness.
.Work closely with aforementioned sales channels to ensure employees receive necessary training to perform department functions.
.Conduct research and analysis to assess training needs and seek new tools to support organizational objectives and goals.
REQUIRED Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.
.Minimum 5+ years training experience in a telecommunications environment. (Will consider other environments in lieu of solid learning & development experience).
.Minimum 2 years project management in a training department;
2 years in either classroom training, instructional design or eLearning design/management.
.Maintain and grow knowledge of the training industry including new methodologies for behavior transfer including blended approaches using e-learning.
.Maintain a deep knowledge of existing and new curriculum; this may include facilitating courses to gain knowledge.
.Outstanding facilitation and public speaking skills.
.Manages own performance and development.
.Ability to integrate technology into the education and business processes.
.Ability to apply real world experience to explain selling concepts.
.Knowledge of adult teaching and learning techniques.
.Knowledge of consultative and solutions sales methods.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
.Course/curriculum design is a plus, but not preferred

SCOPE:
The TWC East Region was recently formed when Operating Executive Vice President, Carol Hevey, took over operations & leadership responsibilities for the combination of the legacy Northeast and Carolina Regions. The East Region is over 13,000 employees and over $5B in revenue with geographical operations in Maine, New Hampshire, Upstate New York, North Carolina & South Carolina.
PURPOSE:
The Senior Director, HR Operations will lead the alignment of regionally and company-wide consistent compensation practices and drive region-wide programs centered around benefits, metrics, data integrity, the regional HR budget, and special projects while driving standardization across the East Region and the Company. This role will be "transitional" in nature as the company becomes more consistent with incentive compensation plans and job code alignment. Initially, this job will focus as a regional resource partnering closely with regional leadership, regional HR leaders and peer roles in other regions. The incumbent will have a strong dotted line reporting relationship to the Corporate Group Vice President, Compensation and Benefits (GVP). It is anticipated that after a 12 to 24 month period as serving as a regional resource, this position will transition from a regional reporting relationship (to the RVP-HR) to reporting to the GVP (or his designee) in a company-wide role.
RESPONSIBILITIES/OBJECTIVES:
. Build relationships with Regional and Corporate leaders and provide insight and guidance on compensation and benefits initiatives both in the short and long term.
. Serve as integral members of the Compensation Council partnering with the Group Vice President of Compensation & Benefits and the Director of Compensation to provide strategic direction to the overall total compensation strategy and design for the Company.
. Responsible for the day-to-day operational & execution of HR Operations for the East Region.
. Direct, oversee, implement and project manage key Regional Human Resource initiatives and programs and serve as a business consultant to the senior leadership.
o Compensation
? Responsible for the management, development, administration and implementation of the East Region's and Company's compensation programs including general compensation, sales compensation, incentives cash compensation, and other initiatives such as auto allowance, supplemental cash plans, etc.
? Provides direction and technical assistance to Field Generalist HR Staff on all matters related to compensation ranging from day to day employee questions to full scale compensation reviews, payroll processes and sales commission administration.
? Partner with Corporate Compensation to design and develop sales commission and incentive plans for Company and Regional Sales Teams in collaboration with Sales and Finance leaders.
o Benefits
? Lead, manage and support all regional benefits activities including administration, interpretation and communication of TWC Benefits Plans.
? Partner with Corporate Benefits team on execution of TWC Health and Welfare Benefit Plans, TWC Qualified Retirement Benefits Programs, Open Enrollment Events, etc.
? Partners with Corporate Benefits on day-to-day employee issues, projects and company-wide initiatives; implementing new or modified benefit plan changes across the East Region.

o Employee Services Support Functions

? Regional lead for all matters relating to Severance and Relocation benefits.

o Project Management
? Actively manages human resource projects, driving assignments, Broad HR team collaboration and providing direction to project team through a formal review process to ensure project goals, timelines, communications, reporting and budgets are met.

QUALIFICATIONS:
. A Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business or a related or equivalent field is required.
