Posting Job Title Inside Account Executives Requisition # 115947BR Location United States - North Carolina - Charlotte Area of Interest Sales Position Type Full Time Posting Job Description Time Warner Cable Carolina Region office currently seeks a Commercial Services Inside Account Executive with focus on hospitality for Ballantyne NC. Please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position. PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to increase revenues from existing Business Class with focus on hospitality customers and to retain them by selling new products and services within an assigned geographical territory. JOB FUNCTIONS: .Inbound/Outbound contact with existing commercial Business Class prospects to conduct needs assessments, identify suitable applications solutions, develop and present proposals, including respective time lines for delivery, and solicit orders. .Target businesses located within assigned territory and market commercial Business Class services. Accomplished through cold calling, networking, outgoing calls, customer referrals and warm leads as provided. .Respond to inquiries regarding the purchase of Business Class services from business customers throughout the assigned territory. Initiate serviceability checks and site survey requests where appropriate. .Manage commercial Business Class accounts on an on-going basis. This includes frequent service follow-ups, competitive and emerging needs identification, downgrading, transferring locations and problem solving. .Maintain a current contact database of Business Class prospects and customers. Keep daily records of sales contacts made, proposals sent, and contracts received. .Communicate daily with the Supervisor and Manager, Business Class. Provide input for reports outlining sales results and activities on a daily basis. Expand the market awareness of commercial Business Class services through involvement in trade and commercial organizations, trade shows, and other public presentations. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school education or equivalent is required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. B2B sales experience required. 3-5 years prior sales experience required. Previous selling experience in the cable/telecommunications industry is strongly preferred. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. COMMUNICATIONS: Must be an effective verbal and written communicator with strong organizational and sales skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. REASON ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situation.
