Job Requirements:
. Experience at least two of
the following:.NET, ColdFusion,

MySQL, Access
. Some
familiarity/understanding of DNS,

Purpose: The Marketing Specialist supports the Product & Pricing Managers by assisting them in implementing both product marketing and pricing-related initiatives. Position Description
The purpose of this position is to support sales by stores and field management to Government businesses. This position will serve as the primary contact to facilitate the review of all government documents needed to sell to Government related businesses and entities at the federal, state, and local levels. Day-to-Day Work Activities Include:
- Working with stores to ensure government documents are properly submitted in CBM and that all policy & procedure questions have been appropriately answered.
- Serve as a key line of defense to ensure that government sales opportunities provided by a government entity present a profitable and realistic business opportunity for Lowe's.
- Answer all emails, inquiries, and phone calls submitted by stores, field management, and DCASs pertaining to government sales, documents, credit lines, reporting / tracking, approvals, etc.
- Serve as the central contact / hub / primary liaison for reviewing and submitting guidance back to stores on government documents submitted for review.
- Assist Credit team and stores to open a new account or obtain a credit line increase to facilitate the government sale. Work with other internal groups as necessary when government entities want to pay via PO or via electronic methods such as Wide Area Work Flow (DOD payment system), EDI, etc.
Position Requirements
1. Education: 4 year degree in Business Administration, Communication, or related field, with 2-4 years relevant professional experience very helpful.
2. Experience working with Federal, State, and Local government businesses preferred.
3. Experience working with cross-functional teams including Legal highly desired.
4. Proven home improvement experience at Lowe's or another mass retailer extremely helpful.
5. Technical: Familiarity with standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite, word-processing, spreadsheets, e-mail) very helpful.
6. Effective oral and written communication skills.
