Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position. Essential Job Functions: . Work with the technical team to create and maintain internal and external websites and applications vital to all departments . Work independently and as part of a team to research business needs and provide recommendations and technical solutions designed to grow Media Sales revenue . Assist with planning IT projects and functions when required including minimal networking, office computers, and other Media Sales technical infrastructure . Maintain an understanding of the latest technology and how to apply it to our Media Sales operations . Maintain a high level of understanding in the set up, deployment and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and networking. . Work with software vendors to ensure maximum stability and up times . Back up for IT Supervisor as required . Any other duties assigned by management Job Requirements: . Experience at least two of the following:.NET, ColdFusion, PHP, Flex, Ruby on Rails, Perl . Experience with Linux or Unix or BSD and Apache/IIS preferred . Experience with two or more of the following: MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, Access . Some familiarity/understanding of DNS, Active Directory, LDAP, TCP/IP networking, batch scripting, SSL certificates, database design, MPEG-2, Flash, WMV desirable . Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations . Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals .
