As a Senior Accountant for Healthcare Clinical Technology Services, you will report to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and will be responsible for assuring financial reporting as being timely, accurate and in compliance with contractual and Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Typical responsibilities could include the review of client contracts, maintain group reporting databases for account reconciliation and corporate reporting, testing of procedures and reports supporting compliance analysis, review/support for various state and local tax sales/use taxes, and review/trending for purchases/payables and expenses. You will also provide field financial support as required and will play a pivotal role in monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing reports for the CFO and other senior management
* Perform journal entries on accounts consistent with US GAAP principals
* Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations, accruals and other necessary adjusting journal entries as directed
* Review financial results for completeness
* Participate in field and internal staff training for new hires
* Assisting with special projects and analyses as directed
Required Experience
* BS in Accounting in relevant field
* CPA required or relevant work experience
* 10 years of relevant experience
* Advanced Excel proficiency
* Access DB experience preferred

ARAMARK Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Accountant to work in our Charlotte, North Carolina office for Clinical Technology Serivces.
The Accountant position will report to the Director of Finance and Accounting. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure the accurate and complete reporting of month end financial results for assigned workstation, including a summary and explanation for significant Revenue and FLC variances from expected results
- Prepares Journal entries, as required, in accordance with GAAP standards
- Complete monthly review and detailed analysis of balance sheet accounts for appropriateness and include documentation in a monthly binder that supports balances
- Review client contracts and verify the financial systems are set up in accordance with the contractual terms
- Effectively prepare for the opening of new profit centers and monitor activity processed on closed profit centers
- Provide support to field managers related to accounting inquiries; provide appropriate accounting guidance to Region leadership and Frontline managers and work to communicate accounting policies & procedures
- Performs other related duties as assignedApplicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent Business degree. Healthcare's Clinical Technology group is seeking a Buyer to be responsible for day-to-day contact with the suppliers of our biomedical and imaging parts and services and the field staff needing those parts and services. This includes managing those suppliers for quality, value, timeliness, expediting, invoice resolution, and general problem-solving. The Buyer is expected to operate at all times in an ethical manner and in compliance with ARAMARK's Business Conduct Policy. Duties include but are not limited to:
* Respond to sourcing requests from the field for biomedical or imaging parts and services. Identify viable alternatives in terms of quality, delivery, exchange vs outright, etc.
* Coordinate with and develop options for Product Managers and Service Optimization for purchases expected to be over $5000.
* Verify proper approval authorizations prior to invoice payment. Document transactions as they develop.
* Maintain concurrent follow-up on mission-critical parts and services to make that sure things happen on time.
* Resolve discrepancies with field staff when there are damages, incorrectly received parts, "dead on arrival;" facilitate return paperwork and the proper receipt of credits.
* Make recommendations to the Director, Supply Chain, with regard to new sources of supply.
* Communicate to the Director any on-going problems with specific suppliers so those problems can be rectified promptly.
* Support the Director in his collection of financial metrics for savings and avoidance.
* Provide advice to field staff on sourcing options.
* Attends necessary professional conventions and "expos" in order to maintain contemporary knowledge about imaging services. Uses these opportunities to share potential new supply channels with the Director.
* Collects vendor qualification information and insurance certificates for the Vendor Files.
* Maintains an electronic "sourcing directory" so that others may assist or back-up if needed.
* Provides Purchasing cross-support as needed for other Buyers in CTS Purchasing.
* Uses Oracle and CTS Procurement Manager to enter, manage, and track purchase transactions.
* Coordinates activities with the Service Contract Coordinator(s) as needed.
