Position Summary The Time Warner Cable East Region currently seeks a Commercial Services Associate Outside Account Executive for Charlotte, NC. Please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position. PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to serve as a "pipeline" or reserve candidate to ensure full staffing for the Outside Account Executive group. While in the associate capacity position will perform sales and administrative functions to help group attain sales revenue objectives as they become certified in products and services, required systems knowledge, and sales skills. This position supports the marketing function by serving as one call resolution and maximizing sales opportunities generated through inbound traffic. JOB FUNCTION: 1.Respond to inquiries from business customers about products and services available and answer questions on all aspects of TWCBC commercial service. Utilize provided support materials to ensure accurate presentation of services. 2.Use skilled probing techniques to identify, develop and match needs after presenting and thoroughly explaining service options to potential customers. 3.Compose and present proposals along with prepared estimated costs analysis to customers. 4.Coordinate access, network and Internet services to customers. Validate customers' computer requirements meet minimum TWCBC system requirements. 5.Set up and follow established procedures to assign account numbers for new potential customers in billing system. Coordinate installation process. 6.Follow established procedures for assigning IP addresses, as necessary. 7.Complete all necessary paperwork and submit required reports as requested by management. 8.Participate in regularly scheduled training and coaching sessions. 9.Develop and maintain strong working relationships with BC customers. 10.Support all department and company goals and objectives. 11.Perform other duties as assigned. 12.Consistently perform all duties and responsibilities according to production and quality standards and provide high quality customer service. 13. Establish and maintain a positive public image. This position involves contact with customers, the general public, supervisors and management, contractors, and employees. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: .High school education or equivalent is required. .Good customer service skills are required. .Must be self-motivated and possess a strong interest in selling required. .Requires basic math skills. .Basic computer skills is required including various web based and software applications. .Excellent interpersonal, active listening and verbal communication skills required. .Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: .An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. .Minimum of 1-2 years selling experience in the cable or telecommunications industry is preferred. .Experience in local carrier and commercial services B2B preferred. Preferred Qualifications: * Three or more years of sales experience exceeding revenue quotas, preferably selling data, voice and/or video solutions in the telecommunications industry * Working knowledge of computers, computer networking, the Internet and fiber connected networks preferred * Strong networking and negotiation skills required * Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required * Requires ability to multitask, as well as work efficiently and effectively within required deadlines * The ability to learn quickly and apply that knowledge, along with the ability to work in a team environment is required * Must have a valid driver¿s license and clean driving record Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience. The East Region is over 13,000 employees and over $5B in revenue with geographical operations in Maine, New Hampshire, Upstate New York, North Carolina & South Carolina. PURPOSE: The Senior Director, HR Operations will lead the alignment of regionally and company-wide consistent compensation practices and drive region-wide programs centered around benefits, metrics, data integrity, the regional HR budget, and special projects while driving standardization across the East Region and the Company. This role will be "transitional" in nature as the company becomes more consistent with incentive compensation plans and job code alignment. Initially, this job will focus as a regional resource partnering closely with regional leadership, regional HR leaders and peer roles in other regions. The incumbent will have a strong dotted line reporting relationship to the Corporate Group Vice President, Compensation and Benefits (GVP). It is anticipated that after a 12 to 24 month period as serving as a regional resource, this position will transition from a regional reporting relationship (to the RVP-HR) to reporting to the GVP (or his designee) in a company-wide role. RESPONSIBILITIES/OBJECTIVES: . Build relationships with Regional and Corporate leaders and provide insight and guidance on compensation and benefits initiatives both in the short and long term. . Serve as integral members of the Compensation Council partnering with the Group Vice President of Compensation & Benefits and the Director of Compensation to provide strategic direction to the overall total compensation strategy and design for the Company. . Responsible for the day-to-day operational & execution of HR Operations for the East Region. .
