Position Description
This position will support the new market development team in the assessment of an international market. The scope of activity will include strategy definition and business modeling to fully understand the market potential for Lowe's. The position will report to the Engagement Director, New Market Development.
Position Requirements
1. Project Management - Strong project management skills. Ability to define projects, develop appropriate work plans, and drive execution. Proactively identifies risks and implements mitigation strategies.
2. Business Perspective - commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically. Ability to identify and define local market needs within the overall corporate context.
3. Analytical Skills - Deep analytical skills, basing recommendations on facts with rigorous attention to detail. Ability to define the structures required to solve ambiguous problems.
4. Interpersonal/Communication Skills - strong interpersonal and communication skills are required, including working with all levels of the organization. Must be effective at working remotely with local international teams. Must have strong written and verbal capability in English - multi-lingual capabilities are preferred. Promotes ideas and proposals persuasively. Provides compelling rationale for arguments. Builds a broad base of support among key stakeholders. Effectively manages conflict.
5. Cross-Functional Capability - This position requires the candidate to understand the role and interrelationships of organization functions and to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
6. Adaptability - Maintains composure and positive attitude in stressful situations. Works constructively and resourcefully under pressure. Demonstrates flexibility and resilience.
7. Periodic travel outside the United States and domestically will be required.
8. Consumer Strategy: a background in consumer strategy and application to business will be a strong plus.
Preferred Qualifications
The successful candidate will have earned an MBA and have 2 - 4 years experience in management consulting or in strategic planning/business development with a retailer or consumer products company. The candidate must have a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional corporate initiatives that involve the development, implementation, and execution of business models. Experience in retail and with multi-national companies a plus.

Position Description
The BPM Coach will be the liaison between the cross-functional teams developing the methodology and the various support organizations involved in the BPM/BPI activities. Specific responsibilities include:
-Work with functional management to understand and characterize process issues and opportunities for resolution. Assist in the development and prioritization of a portfolio of potential BPM projects.
-Coach multiple teams in support of Lowe's BPM development. Mentor project teams in the executions of BPM projects including scoping, current-state capture, process analysis support, future-state design, and deployment planning.
-Provide analytical and problem-solving support including quantitative and qualitative analysis of business issues using a wide variety of standard approaches. BPM Coaches must be adept at gathering and analyzing only the most critical information, looking past symptoms to root causes, detecting flawed reasoning, and identifying reasonable alternatives.
-Help in the development of process measurement and monitoring through the creations of appropriate scorecards and exception reporting.
-Monitor the adoption and effective use of standard BPM methodology by functional support staff. Provide feedback to assist in the refinement of the methodology and the deployment tactics.
Position Requirements

-Demonstrated ability to collaborate with, influence, and motivate others.

Position Summary:
The Enterprise Architecture department is sponsoring the development and implementation of a broad-based solution for cross-platform audience measurement, television everywhere, and addressable advertising initiatives across the company. The Operations Manager will be responsible for actively managing project work streams throughout the service delivery lifecycle, including definition, design, build, validation, and deployment. The candidate must possess the ability to drive multiple threads, departments, contractors, and issues in a fast-paced and complex environment with ever-changing priorities. Additionally, the role requires a balance across business and technical knowledge, with the executive presence to handle daily communications with middle management and executive stakeholders across the enterprise. This program is multi-faceted on both the business and technology fronts with several sponsoring business organizations (strategy, media sales, marketing, and programming) and a multitude of solution components supported by several different vendors. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data movement and management disciplines, as well as a working knowledge of video, online, and voice delivery technologies.
Essential Job Functions:
The candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities required to bring new releases of feature functionality to market on the Subscriber Data Architecture technology platform:
. Facilitate the identification and prioritization of business needs and priorities into platform releases
. Identify the impacted technology platform components and develop release delivery time and cost estimates working with the various technology owners
. Define and drive the release management strategy and integrated delivery plan across all phases of the service delivery lifecycle, including business operations
. Manage day-to-day release/program timelines, costs, issues, risks, communications, and delivery activities across internal and external stakeholders
. Participate in the creation and validation of release deliverables, including business requirements, technical specifications, test plans/results, capacity sizing estimates, and operations playbooks
The candidate must develop a detailed working knowledge of business priorities, legal/regulatory constraints, and platform solution components. Business priorities will span audience measurement (cross-platform viewing impressions), television everywhere (cross-platform video delivery), addressable advertising (targeted delivery of ads based on audience qualifiers), and interactive set-top box applications. Legal and regulatory issues will primarily focus on maintaining customer privacy and ensuring the availability of content to eligible (paying) subscribers across delivery platforms. The technology platform consists of data collection/sourcing, network mediation, data warehouse, business analytics, high velocity transaction processing, integration, and services components riding a number of underlying best-of-breed technologies.
Job Requirements:
The candidate must have strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills and an executive presence in connection with communicating objectives and status, as well as resolving business and technical issues with cross-functional stakeholders. Basic analytical and problem-solving skills will be critical in developing creative solutions to complex issues that must be resolved against aggressive delivery timelines. Deep technical experience is required with working knowledge of large scale information movement and management technologies critical to having success in this role. Informatica/AbInitio, Oracle databases and SOA components, Netezza, Cognos/MicroStrategies, and data modeling. The candidate must be self-motivated, high-energy, reliable, and able to represent the organization and program in front of executive stakeholders. Project management skills are a "must have" and PMI (or similar) certifications would be well-received.

Preferred Qualifications:
The candidate should have a minimum five years of technology management experience in a fast-paced high technology environment, with a strong technical education and seven years of industry or consulting technical experience. PMI (or similar) project management certifications are a plus. An advanced technical degree or MBA with a technical background would also be a plus.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience.
