Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests or usability. Share Subject Matter Expertise in one or more related areas. Document software defects using a bug tracking system. Report defects to software developers. Cultivate and apply understanding of development and testing methodology, policies, standards, internal controls, and external controls. Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content. Monitor bug resolution efforts and track success. Interact with other IT delivery groups, IT business liaisons, and business representatives to analyze requests, accurately size, plan, deliver, and support the required effort. Leverage onsite expertise to collaborate with offshore and remote teams for cost effective testing, test automation and performance testing. Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules or potential problems. Utilize CSQA and CSTE to mentor others at Test Engineer III and lower levels, and to serve as organizational level lead for developing, maintaining, and monitoring best test practices. Develop and deliver formal training on advanced testing processes. Position Requirements Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Engineering or directly related field with 2 years experience in Quality Assurance (QA) project management, analyzing, developing and implementing QA processes, leveraging onsite expertise to collaborate with offshore and remote teams for testing, test automation and performance testing, mentoring senior and junior level staff, developing and delivering formal training on advanced testing processes, and maintaining custom-built and package software applications. Title: Intern (Winter Break 2009/Analytical Lab - EHS) Location: North Carolina-Huntersville-Proc Con %26 EHS-Huntersville (2760) Winter Break Interns will work the holiday break between Fall and Winter semesters. Typically ranges from the second week of Decemeber through the first week of January. Position will provide technical support to Science Technicians and Scientists in the Analytical laboratory. Activities may include (but are not limited to) laboratory environment testing and support. Specific daily duties may vary depending upon need. Glassware washing, sample preparation, sample receipt, data entry, filing, copying, organization, clean up and instrumental analysis are all potential duties. Chemical and physical analyses are performed on a variety of materials (water, soil, coal, oil, solids and waste). This position potentially requires work of prolonged periods in laboratory conditions.
