Responsibilities:
. Gain an in depth understanding of the business
. Gain an in depth technical knowledge of core Usage Mgt Applications
. Requirements gathering and analysis sessions with business users
. Technical design and development of applications & integration points
. Develop training collateral and train users and junior members
. Define and support deployment and quality control measures
. Establish automated alerts, technical and business operations controls
. Develop & support service level agreements between functional areas
. Analyze usage to trend results & mitigate issues in real-time
. Support technical and business operations
. Troubleshoot and resolve system and data issues
. Time management for multiple projects in a fast paced environment
Requirements:
. Cable, Telecommunications, and/or Wireless experience
. In depth technical experience supporting OSS and BSS applications
. Experienced in support of end users and production processes
. In depth technical experience with UNIX, Scripting, Java, Oracle PL/SQL
. Experience supporting mission critical applications and services
. Advanced data analysis, problem solving, oral & written communication
. Experience with query and ad hoc reporting and relational databases
. Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast paced environment
. Ability to manage multiple environments in a shared architecture
. Experience with traffic pattern recognition and converged services
Preferred:
. Technical depth with FusionWorks Platform from Openet
. Experience with rate plan design and configuration
. Technical depth with data management software and appliances

DUTIES/OBJECTIVES:
. Develops and executes strategies and plans to promote effective communications among all employees.

. Partners with other departments such as Learning and Development, HR, Marketing and Operations to provide supervisors and other managers with appropriate messages, tools and training to help them be effective communicators.

. Works closely with communications team members to engage employees in TWC's philanthropic activities and enable them to be ambassadors in the community.

REQUIREMENTS:
. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or similar discipline required.

. Excellent and proven organizational, leadership, team-building, problem solving, decision-making and strategic planning skills required.
. Superior written and oral communications skills are essential, including public speaking and business writing experience.

Essential Job Functions:
This position is primarily responsible for analyzing TWC's monthly income statement and balance sheet. Each month TWC's analyzes the financial results and summarizes all fluctuations in a monthly report that is provided to upper management. In overseeing this process, the Accounting manager will supervise two accounting staff, coordinate meetings with Regions & Corporate groups, oversee Hyperion applications used to aggregate data and variance input, research fluctuations and consider appropriateness of accounting in accordance with TWC's accounting policies and US GAAP.
This position also coordinates audit support with external, internal and SOX controls auditors. In addition, the Accounting Manager is also responsible for coordinating the preparation and review of all SOX narratives for the Consolidated Accounting and Reporting team.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- CPA
- Minimum of 7 years accounting experience, preferably with 2+ years of public accounting experience and 2+ years of supervisory experience.
- Must have strong analytical skills.
- Excellent technology skills associated with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
- Expertise in Hyperion Essbase
