Posting Job Title Director of ER/Compliance Requisition # 116224BR Location United States - North Carolina - Charlotte Area of Interest Human Resources Position Type Full Time Posting Job Description Position Summary: This position is responsible for coordinating and directing the Employee Relations/Regulatory Compliance programs and functions. The incumbent has primary responsibility for management of TWC's regulatory compliance programs to include: regulatory reporting, compliance with regulatory agencies' requirements, external audit support and on-going internal audit initiatives. Additionally, this position also has responsibilities for HR policies and procedures and HR communications. Essential Job Functions: . Develops, implements, and administers compliance programs to ensure TWC's compliance with regulatory agencies' requirements. . Monitors the effectiveness of existing compliance programs and provides guidance to ER/Compliance leaders across TWC. . Coordinates and lead monthly ER/Compliance update calls with ER/Compliance leaders across TWC with the goal of communicating new compliance requirements as well as identifying trends of potential issues or concerns. . Supervises and provides direction to staff engaged in compliance reporting, adherence to compliance requirements, internal and external audits and HR Communications. . Monitors activities and initiatives and prepare reports highlighting possible trends. . Develops new policies as well as on-going review of HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with local, state and federal laws. . Works closely with the Law Department to research and interpret regulatory compliance requirements and drive compliance related initiatives across TWC. . Manages the allocation of internal resources to support external audits as well as conduct comprehensive internal HR/Wage and Hour audits. . Works with staff to develop, implements and ensures communication systems in place are simple and easy to access as well as meet the needs of HR leaders across TWC. . Develops and delivers regulatory compliance training to Human Resources leaders across TWC. . Builds and fosters strong relationships with all areas of HR and the business, must work collaboratively with HR leaders across TWC. Job Requirements: . BS/BA in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field or equivalent relevant experience required. . Minimum of ten (10) years experience as a HR Generalist or Employee Relations role of which 3+ years in a Regulatory/EEO Compliance role is required. . Minimum of 5+ years in a leadership role managing people as well as a function within HR. . Proven successful experience working in industries regulated by the OFCCP and FCC. . Very strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills a must. . Conflict resolution, problem solving and project management skills are required. . Must have working knowledge of employment laws, including but not limited to FLSA, FMLA, ADEA, Title VII, ADA, etc. . Experience working with applicant tacking systems, HRIS applications, and EEO reporting applications required. . Position required 40% travel.
