Posting Job Title Automotive Sales Director Requisition # 116155BR Location United States - North Carolina - Charlotte Area of Interest Ad Sales Position Type Full Time Posting Job Description The Time Warner Cable Media Sales Team - East Region currently seeks an Automotive Sales Director in our East Region. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position. Essential Job Functions: -Directs automotive sales strategies for the East region -Responsible for all markets' auto budgets and performance. -Coordinates activities around and focus on the Automotive vertical across all of the region's markets and sales teams. - Supports Account Executives and administrative support personnel in the automotive sector. Responsibilities include: coaching and training sales staff, participating in interviewing/hiring activities, providing input on all business actions related to auto sector. - Prepares budgets, re-estimates and long-range plans. - Responsible for the maximization of auto revenue production including management of related inventory and resources. - Develops automotive advertising strategies and tactics, and promotional/event driven activities consistent with TWC policies and procedures and National/Local laws and regulations. - Oversees the preparation of research and demographic analysis used to maximize local, regional and national sales efforts in the auto sector. - Develops and maintains positive, productive working relationship with all market sales personnel and operational associates. - Maintains high level of visibility and professionalism in the communities we serve and with clients. - Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: -Knowledge of advertising, marketing, promotion, production and traffic is required. -Working knowledge of cable industry and National/Local regulations as they relate to areas of responsibility required. -Local and national sales as well as agency experience preferred; specific Automotive expertise is preferred -Incumbent will be a highly motivated, enthusiastic self-starter and possess a desire to win. -Must demonstrate proficient coaching skills including the ability to lead and inspire personnel to achieve goals. -Requires the ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both orally and in writing, and have strong interpersonal communications skills. -Requires solid problem-solving skills and the ability to act quickly while using good judgment. -Travel as needed is a requirement. Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in Marketing, Communications or other related field. Five to ten years' related work and supervisory experience. The Staff Auditor I will assist in the planning of individual audits, developing steps to evaluate controls, gather and analyze information as necessary to evaluate the effectiveness and adequacy of the controls. The Staff Auditor I will also assist in the interpretation of the test results and assist in the oral and written communication of the audit results to the client. Position Requirements The Staff Auditor I is an entry level position that will be expected to learn and apply the Lowe's audit methodology under the direction of more experienced auditors. The following functions and responsibilities will be the focus for the Staff Auditor I position: . Assist in the performance of preliminary survey work and as necessary document processes to identify significant risks and their related controls. . Assist in the development and execution of audit test steps designed to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of relevant internal controls. . Prepare workpapers to adequately document audit work performed and to support conclusions reached. . Assist in the identification and documentation of weakness in control design and effectiveness based on analysis performed. . Assist with the summarization of audit findings and preparation of formal audit reports. . Assist in the follow-up on audit reports to determine if required action was taken, document and communicate the results of the review. . Assist in the review management's Sarbanes-Oxley 404 test results on a quarterly basis and perform independent testing as necessary. . Manage time and workload to meet project milestones. . Develop working understanding of audit methodology and standards. . Participate in departmental committees and teams as necessary. . Develop knowledge of business areas being reviewed through independent research and inquiry. . Develop technical skill sets (i.e. ACL, PeopleSoft, DART, etc.) that will enhance analytical capabilities and that will increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the audit. . May be required to travel 10-20% overnight Preferred Qualifications . Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or business related field required; Master's Degree in business related field a plus . 1-2 years of internal audit experience or relevant business experience . Retail business experience . Certification - CIA, CPA, CISA
