Position Description
Under the direction of the Assistant Planning Manager, develop interdepartmental cross training for planning department. Provide production scheduling to ensure maximum efficiency while meeting service level requirements of service area. Plan and execute special programs, clearly communicating expectations with all levels of Lowe's Distribution, as well as Store and Corporate personnel.
Specific Duties:
1.Responsible for the proper scheduling of production work to maximize flow and reduce work content.
2.Provide leadership and direction of the Production Planners on the assigned shift.
3.Perform daily allocations and monitor progress to productivity reporting.
4.Analysis and problem solving of service level issues.
5.Coordinate and execute logistical requests for Corporate and Stores.
6.Creation and communication of daily plan to Operations, resolving issues or concerns with existing plan.
7.Provide high level of customer service to our Stores
8.Identify and resolve idle demand in a cost effective manner.
9.Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
1.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
2.Proven exceptional leadership and motivational skills.
3.Flexible and adaptable to a changing environment
4.Strong organizational and communication skills (written and oral).
5.Knowledge of RDC operations and product flow through the RDC.
6.Ability to manage and execute multiple tasks simultaneously
7.Extensive computer knowledge and system related experience to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, DMS and Host.
8.Have supervisory experience in a production scheduling environment.
9.Customer Service experience.
Preferred Qualifications
4-year college degree and/or prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment

Position Description
With the tremendous growth in the volume and complexity of our vendor funded programs, the accurate and timely recording of these vendor funded programs is critical to the success of Lowe's, especially in light of the high degree of regulatory oversight in this area. The Product Accounting team is responsible for the administration, tracking, accrual, adjustment and collection of vendor funds related to various allowance programs offered to Lowe's. These programs include rebate, advertising, store service and new store allowances along with other miscellaneous program types.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the creation, completion and distribution of periodic and ad hoc reports to primarily support the operations of the Product Accounting department, as well as various other groups including but not limited to Finance Management and Merchandising. Associates in this position must be technically competent ensuring accuracy in all data research and analysis performed to aid in the managerial decision process. This position will work with members of the department to enhance and automate business processes and with IT departments on maintenance and enhancement items as well as testing of new system functionality. Provide technical assistance to department users with Microsoft Office products, Micro Strategies, various reporting tools and Lowe's vendor allowance tracking systems.
Position Requirements
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Accounting, or other related fields. Must have detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office products, working knowledge of accounting concepts, strong analytical skills and effective problem solving skills.
Ideal candidate must be able to:
. Independently define and develop solution design in order to successfully deliver automated solutions to business problems utilizing query and reporting tools (ACCESS, EXCEL).
. Define, develop, and deliver ad hoc reporting for both users and executive management.
. Perform diagnostics, resolve problems, escalate problems as required, work with other group members, and take appropriate actions to assure appropriate and prompt solutions to system, application, and customer problems.
. Conduct interviews to gather user requirements for requested user-based enhancements.
Preferred Qualifications
. Minimum of 2 years of experience in system development and data analysis.
. Understanding of programming languages such as Visual Basic, SAS and SQL.
