Well established 60 year old Charlotte Company hiring a Staff Accountant with a minimum of 2 years experience in Accounts Receivable and 4 plus years experience in Account / Bank Reconciliations to join their team. Position reports to Corporate Controller and is responsible for the reconciliation of 12 Bank Accounts and cash sweeps / transfers. Responsible for multiple G/L Account Reconciliations and month end close activities working closely with AP, AR and the Vice President of Finance on special projects. Will coordinate the daily deposits from 50 store / branch locations and work as a liaison between corporate and the field on discrepancies and provide problem resolution. Senior Plant Accountant position immediately available for an individual that is looking for a career track opportunity! Ideal candidate will possess a strong Accounting / Finance background coupled with Operations. This plant finance position provides critical support to the plant Controller. Position reports to the Plant Controller and be responsible for three primary areas of Accounting and Operations. The ideal candidate will have progressed through manufacturing finance operations, be capable of identifying cost savings opportunities, and have demonstrated success in implementing process improvements and plant optimization. Must enjoy being part of a dynamic manufacturing organization. Month-End Close & Inventory Reconciliation • Assist with month-end closing, journal entries, responsibilities including reconciling accounts, variance analysis to budget and forecast, posting of journal entries and reporting • Inventory control and reconciliation, including reviewing or auditing the adherence to cycle count procedures, participating in the annual physical inventory and reconciling inventory transactions • Fixed asset control and reconciliation including conducting physical inventory counts • Assist with the capital process including reviewing capital project requests, identifying obsolescence and project expenses, preparing financial justifications, and ensuring timely creation of assets in SAP Budget Preparation, Forecasts, Reporting & Financial Analysis • Assist in developing the annual plant budget, including creating standard costs and updating SAP with new standards & budget period expenses • Responsible for processing of weekly payroll, reconciling payroll, generating reports, printing checks and distribution including monthly payroll accrual • Assist in developing monthly plant full year forecasts and analyzing variances to budget • Support the weekly estimate process through reporting actual weekly performance and providing projections for the month to the plant controller • Support the plant in generating or quantifying cost savings opportunities and support the plant management team in the implementation of cost reduction initiatives • Prepare plant reports on production and key performance indicators • Report plant's operating results and provide analysis to the plant controller Internal Controls & Compliance • Assist with the review and audit of internal control procedures in order to sustain SOX compliance and manage/minimize financial risk at the facility • Assist with plant internal and external financial and operational audits and address any audit findings with the plant controller; participate with compliance certifications and reconciliations as required • Respond quickly and accurately to customer requests, including special projects and other duties or analysis as requested by plant or divisional leadership; research and resolve day-to-day issues related to general ledger accounts • Train and assist plant personnel on the proper reporting of production activities • Serve as back-up for the IT support of the plant assisted by the corporate IT group For Immediate consideration send resume to lynn.dreyer@rhi.com

Charlotte Corporate office currently seeks a Property Tax Manager for their Tax Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position. Position Summary Main purpose of the Property Tax Manager is to be an informed representative of the company who assists in the management of the annual property tax cycle. Such responsibilities will focus on the more analytical components of the cycle such as, but not limited to, support of positions examined during audits/appeals and working on special projects concerning planning and tax policy. The property Tax Manager will also be involved in filing property tax returns, managing the assessment process, paying property tax bills, preparing property tax general ledger account reconciliations and preparing annual property tax budgets. Essential Job Functions - Calculates property tax exposure and provides input for audit and appeal status reports. - Collection of information from division, extracting information from property tax compliance processes, researching and writing support memorandums for positions and overall support to Senior Management for audits/appeals. - Use of Excel and PTMS to update valuation models based on best company/division information. - Supports the Property Tax Management team and Senior Management in all functions of the property tax function (compliance, audits/appeals, tax bill payment, assessment review, account reconciliations, budgets, and special projects) - Keeps abreast of changing property tax laws and incorporates changes into valuation models and budget assumptions and performs other duties as needed or assigned. - Provides support for special projects in the tax planning and policy areas, including adequately researching and documenting property tax laws. - Provides support for the compliance function. - Timely files property tax returns and manages his/her own compliance schedule. - Collects and organizes required information from corporate and divisions; reviews and prepares property tax payments for approval; utilizes PTMS (property tax management software) to its fullest. - Prepares budget requirements for division property tax accounts. Prepares annual accrual accounts; updates projections, estimates taxes, and prepares annual budget reestimates. - Verifies property tax assessments against filed returns. This includes discrepancies, determining correct amounts, contacting taxing jurisdictions and recommending accrual adjustments. Job Requirements • Property Tax experience suggested but not required. • Accounting or finance skills are required. • Communication skills must be excellent. • Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and research meet multiple deadlines. • Must interact internally with Tax and Headquarters management and staff. • Must interact externally with Division accounting and operation personnel and state and local taxing authorities and tax consultants. • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
