Qualifications: Four-year degree (CPA/MBA preferred) or extensive experience in business and accounting; Minimum of 8 years experience in managing the accounting practices of a company of like size; Knowledge and experience in the areas of record-keeping, bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, cash management, vendor relations, payroll, financial reporting, contract negotiations, and strategic planning; Demonstrated skills in developing, managing, maintaining, and growing financial systems and procedures. |

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: General Manager
SUMMARY: To coordinate and execute all aspects of the restaurant outlet for the hotel, utilizing the principles, policies and standards of Hulsing Hotels – Inc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
___ Present a clean and professional image.
___ Develop and maintain expectations for servers, hosts, and bartenders.
___ Hire, train, and coordinate the restaurant and bar staff.
___ Make sure all equipment (linens, china, glass, silver, etc) are clean, and stored correctly with enough stock on hand.
___ Hire, train, and coordinate Banquet Staff including Banquet Manager.
___ Maintain and update all POS (Point of Sale) equipment and Financial Reporting.
___ Create weekly schedules for staff, following our budgeted labor figures.
___ Maintain proper par levels for all equipment and supplies required for this outlet.
___ Follow all inventory and purchasing guidelines as determined by our budget and GM.
___ Coordinate the daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly cleaning needs of all facilities and supplies for the restaurant department – including implementation of a checklist completed by staff and maintained by manager.
___ Ensure guest satisfaction for all guests utilizing your outlet.
___ Assist the General Manager in the research and development of annual budgets related to your department. And on a monthly basis justify any excessive spending.
___ Participate in the Manager Inspection Program as directed by the General Manager.
___ Contribute and work as a team member in all facets of the position and management team.
___ Responsible for monthly beverage inventory (may be required more often if percentages are not in line).
___ Perform other duties as requested by the General Manager.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervise employees in the Restaurant. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma; and two or more years or related experience and/or training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
