Responsible for assisting the physician(s) with the assessment and treatment of patient needs, especially telephonically, in the office/clinical setting. Handles incoming patient phone calls appropriately; triages, obtains and records appropriate signs and symptoms, communicates to patients appropriate instructions/information per protocols, and documents all communication. Places calls to patient; to handle pre-certifications; referrals; ancillary/lab scheduling.
Performs office procedures as requested - phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, holter monitors, etc. Exhibits sound clinical skills. Current LPN Tennessee state license |
