Manager Human Resources

Child & Family Tennessee, a dynamic and growing not-for-profit organization, has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resource Manager. In this hands-on role you will be responsible for leading and ensuring all functions of Child & Family Tennessee’s Human Resource Department, including but not limited to recruitment and retention strategies and practices, benefit package development and benefits administration, employee relations and handbook, training, and contractual, statutory and accreditation requirements. Candidate must have a strong track record of successful development and implementation of HR policy and procedures including DOL regulations, progressive discipline, and credentialing.

Qualified candidates must have at minimum a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of progressive experience, including significant management experience in a Human Resources Department. A Masters degree is a plus and experience with Health Care, Human Services, and/or JCAHO or other accreditation highly preferred. Computer literacy (MS Office, e-mail, internet) is required; experience with ABRA or other HR database software a plus.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in problem solving, strategy development, relationships, decision making, leadership and staff management, excellent verbal/written communications skills, and a strong commitment to the mission and programs of Child & Family Tennessee.
