Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position. Position Summary: Experienced instructional designer to design and create adult education related to New Products, Customer Care, On-Boarding, Field Operations, Leadership Development and Train-the-Trainers. Essential Job Functions: Conduct course needs analysis to validate learning needs. Work in a virtual team to design and develop learning solutions using a blended approach that includes instructor led, web-based self paced, on-the-job training tools, coaching verifications, etc. Collaborate and partner with team members and subject matter experts from various field operations and corporate departments in an effort to develop dynamic learning solutions. Manage projects to come in on time, on budget, and with quality. Ensure that all learning solutions are inline with our business strategies and can be measured to show return on investment. Job Requirements: Proven competency in instructional design with expertise in the development of blended learning - instructor led, self paced, web-based, etc. Strong project management skills applied in a business/corporate environment. Experience in all phases of the instructional design process. 2-4 years of experience designing for new product training. Knowledge of authoring tools, usability and functionality testing methods, as well as course and learner evaluation methodology. Experience in curriculum design, content development and training best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Dream Weaver, Flash, Adobe Photoshop, SoundForge, and Captivate. Experience using HTML, XML, Actionscript and other web technologies a plus. Ability to work well with others. Essential Job Functions: The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the following: Prepare and enter standard and ad hoc journal entries; Prepare account reconciliations and rollforwards; Perform monthly variance analysis with respect to fixed assets, capital expenditures, depreciation and amortization expense, intangibles and other accounts as appropriate including analysis between actual, prior month, budget and re-estimate; Review capital project authorizations to ensure adherence to financial policies. Thorough knowledge of software development, upgrades, customization, and superior technical skills. . Knowledge of standard Microsoft software applications. Strong Excel, Word, and Access skills required. . Excellent verbal and written communications skills required. . Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player approach required. Preferred Qualifications: . Experience in implementing OIC. . Should have worked in packaged and custom software deployments and understand the tasks and methodologies. . Generate and develop weather story ideas. . Makes public appearances at the guidance of the News Director and Marketing department. . Performs other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: . Strong on-camera communication skills. . Ability to work under time and deadline pressure. . Excellent computer skills and experience with weather graphics systems. . Extensive knowledge of meteorology, geography, weather forecasting and severe storm tracking techniques. . Willingness to work variety of shifts and demonstrate flexibility in scheduling. .
